West Coast Snorkel Adventure by Speedboat: Sea Turtles at Playa Piskado and the Blue Room

West Coast Snorkel Adventure by Speedboat: Sea Turtles at Playa Piskado and the Blue Room – Playa Piskado, the Blue Room and Kokomo Beach, Curaçao

Powerboat Caribbean · Playa Piskado, the Blue Room and Kokomo Beach

A high-speed day along Curaçao’s west coast on Powerboat Caribbean’s RIB: swim with the sea turtles at Playa Piskado, where the crew grills a barbecue lunch, explore the glowing Blue Room cave, ride back against the wind and the waves and snorkel a last time near Kokomo Beach. Drinks are unlimited.

Send your date and the number of guests; Kua Kaminda checks the date with Powerboat Caribbean. Once it is free, you pay 10% online to book, and Powerboat Caribbean send you a payment link for the rest.

Your day

Board at Surfspot Curaçao (9:45 AM), Mood Beach (10:00 AM), Sandals (10:00 AM, hotel guests), Marichi Pier (10:15 AM) or the Marriott (10:30 AM).

At speed along the west coast.

Playa Piskado: the fishermen clean their catch here, which draws the sea turtles; swim with them while the crew prepares the barbecue lunch.

The Blue Room: a sea cave where the sunlight makes the water glow blue. Some days you swim about a metre (3 ft) underwater to get in; the crew guides everyone. When the sea doesn’t allow it, they choose another stop.

The ride back, against the wind and the waves: the most exciting part.

A last stop near Kokomo Beach, with many fish and coral in clear water.

Check-out at 3:45 PM.

What is included

The speedboat tour with captain and crew

Adult tickets are for 12 and over, children’s tickets for 6 to 11.

When the sea is too rough, Powerboat Caribbean discuss another option with you.

About 3 hours of cruising and 3 of snorkelling and sightseeing.

What to bring

Reef-safe sunscreen, but no spray: it damages the boat’s seats

A cap or a hat

A UV shirt or a rash guard
