How long is the tour, and when does it run?
It runs every day from 9 AM to 3 PM, and the tour is listed at 360 minutes, so plan on about six hours. Yellow Adventures collects you from your hotel in the morning and brings you back in the afternoon; the exact pickup time depends on which hotel you are staying at.
Is there hotel pickup?
Yes. Yellow Adventures picks up at most major hotels on the island. Include the name of your hotel when you send your request, together with your preferred date and the number of guests. Kua Kaminda passes the request on to Yellow Adventures, and they confirm it.
What does the tour include?
The day covers Willemstad, a stop at the liqueur factory, both the east and the west side of the island, entrance to Shete Boka National Park, the old plantation houses (land houses), a photo stop at Knip Beach, the flamingo sanctuary and a stop for lunch. The lunch itself is not part of the price.
Is lunch included?
No. The tour makes a lunch stop, but you pay for your own meal. One of the tour photos shows karni stoba with aros moro, a Curaçao stew served with rice and beans, as an example of a local lunch; it is only an example and is not included.
How much does it cost?
The Curaçao Complete Island Tour costs USD 79 per person. The 9% government tax is already included in that price. Lunch is not included, so budget for it separately.
Which parts of Curaçao does the tour cover?
It is designed to show the whole island in one day, east and west. One side is Willemstad, with its colorful facades, its bridges and the liqueur made on the island. The other is the countryside of the west: hills, salt flats, flamingos, plantation houses and small coves, plus the wild north coast at Shete Boka National Park.
What vehicle is used?
The tour photos show Yellow Adventures' orange Hyundai minibus, including a picture of it parked by the floating market in Punda.
